The tour takes you through Jackson Square and Pirates Alley where you’ll hear about how the Lafitte brothers came to New Orleans and crafted their smuggling empire. Your guide will take you down the historic Royal Street to discover how they evolved from smugglers to saviors during the Battle of New Orleans.
Your salty guides, either The Captain or Quarter Master will separate pirate facts from the myths. You will laugh and learn. The Pirates, along with the French Quarter as the backdrop, will make for a truly remarkable New Orleans experience.
The Captain and his crew are going to tell you what life was really like for a Pirate in New Orleans in the early 1800’s. You’ll hear about the sword fights, the smuggling and the rum. You’ll learn about the pirate’s involvement in the Battle of New Orleans, customs, traditions and more rum. - You’ll walk less than a mile with many stops along the way. There’s also a bathroom/drink break halfway through
