Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Times Square, where your friendly tour guide will greet you. Travel in comfort on a scenic 4-5 hour journey to Washington, D.C., the U.S. capital. Your first stop is the iconic Iwo Jima Memorial, honoring the U.S. Marines and their heroic actions in WWII. Next, visit the Lincoln Memorial, a tribute to the president who fought to end slavery.
As the heart of the U.S. government, Washington D.C. offers: the White House, home of the President, and the U.S. Capitol, where laws are made. After a memorable tour, enjoy some free time for lunch.
Your journey continues to Philadelphia, the first U.S. capital, with a 3-hour drive. Upon arrival in the historic Old City, your guide will take you on a walking tour of Independence National Historical Park. Discover the Liberty Bell, symbolizing America’s independence, and Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed.
End your Philadelphia visit at the famous Rocky Steps outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where you can re-enact the iconic movie scene. Then, relax on your motor coach as you head back to Times Square, arriving around 8:00-8:30 pm.
