Travel through the long extraordinary history of London in a guided walking tour to see a different side of the city. Explore ancient streets with traces of Roman history, or historic Tudor gatehouses.
Your guide will lead you through the historic side streets of London and tell about the history beneath your feet. You will walk over Black Death victims from the 14th century and a long-lost Roman Amphitheater. In Smithfield, you will learn about the horrific executions that took place and admire an incredible late Tudor gatehouse. Visit the shell of a church destroyed in the Blitz and visit one of the most touching memorials to heroic self-sacrifice.
After this immersive walk you will have seen a whole other side of beautiful London and learned a bit of its history.
