From July 1st onwards, you will get the opportunity to explore the incredible interior of the Abbey including the ornate chapels and tombs of famous figures such as Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots, and Isaac Newton. Admire the stunning Gothic architecture, towering arches, and intricate stonework as your guide reveals fascinating stories and secrets behind this iconic landmark.
Next, you'll be taken on a captivating walking tour to witness the famous Changing of the Guard ceremony. Marvel at the precision and pageantry of the King's Foot Guards as they march to Buckingham Palace in their iconic red tunics and bearskin hats, or admire the gleaming coats of the Household Cavalry's horses if you book your tour on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday. With a small group of 20 people or fewer, you'll have ample opportunity to take photos and fully appreciate the splendor of this British tradition.

- The Changing of the Guard ceremony is subject to changes in date, time and cancellation at the discretion of British authorities. Cancellation due to bad weather is not announced before the morning of the ceremony. Even when canceled, you will still see a ‘wet change’ during which the guards march but without the usual music and parade
- On different dates you'll see either footguards or horseguards
- This tour involves a fair amount of walking. Comfortable shoes are recommended
