More than a full-day tour, you'll discover why Cairo’s stunning Islamic architecture has earned its nickname - the city of a thousand minarets.
Your day starts with visiting Al Muizz Street, which is a major north-to-south street in the walled city of historic Cairo. It constituted the main axis of the city's economic zones where its souqs (markets) were concentrated. Learn from the guide how it was commissioned by Egypt's rulers and elites.
Then, admire one of the most iconic sections of Muizz Street known as Bayn al-Qasrayn, featuring the famous Complex of Sultan Qalawun, and behind it the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Barquq. Next, hear about the importance of Al-Azhar Mosque and why it's the most famous in the Muslim world. Lastly, visit Bab El Fotouh and many other valuable monuments to complete the memorable day.

- please note that, during the Al-Azhar Mosque's visit, ladies are kindly requested to wear long skirts and scarves
