Imagine soaring in a hot air balloon over Luxor's ancient treasures, the Nile River and verdant fields. This is your chance to embark on a memorable journey from Marsa Alam, exploring the highlights of Luxor combined with a thrilling hot air balloon experience.

Your adventure begins with a complimentary pick-up from your hotel lobby in Marsa Alam. After a five-hour drive, you'll arrive at the hot air balloon location, ready for your flight over Luxor monuments.

Following this, delve into the mysteries of the Valley of the Kings, once known as the “Gates of the Kings” or the “Place of Truth”. You'll have the opportunity to enter three of its 63 royal tombs and explore the temple of Hatshepsut, rising majestically out of the desert.

Next, pause to admire two towering 60-foot stone statues that have stood sentinel for over 3,000 years before crossing the immortal River Nile to Luxor East Bank. You'll then relax onboard a traditional motor boat heading to Hotel Steigenberger or Iberotel Luxor to enjoy lunch.

Your day concludes with a visit to the impressive Karnak Temple, a sprawling complex of towering temples. Finally, you'll return to your accommodation in Marsa Alam.

Your entrance ticket to Valley of the Kings includes a visit to 3 tombs excluding the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI
For the balloon ride, children up to 12 years old need to be accompanied by an adult
Balloon trip is subject to favourable weather conditions. If a balloon flight is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you'll receive a partial refund
Flight duration is normally about 45 minutes, however, flight times can vary from 40 to 90 minutes depending on the temperature of the air
Tour duration and pickup time are simply guidelines subject to change due to operational conditions and your hotel location
Please arrange a takeaway breakfast box with your hotel reception one day before the tour date
If your accommodation includes dinner, then please coordinate with your hotel reception prior tour date to provide a late dinner at your room upon return
