You begin your day as an Olympic athlete at the beautiful neoclassical building known as the Zappeion, just below the National Garden. Find out more about how ancient Olympic athletes trained and learn some techniques used by modern athletes before you compete in a race in the stadium where the first modern Olympic Games where held. Also, have a go at long jump, javelin, shot put, and discus.
Don’t worry about personal bests, it’s taking part, not the finish line that counts!

The closest metro stop is Acropolis (take the red metro line), exit Makriyanni/Aeropagitou. From there it is an 8 minute walk to get to the Temple´s entrance. If coming by taxi, please request that the driver takes you to Leof. Vasilissis Olgas 1, Athina 105 57. Please note that this is a pedestrian street and you may have to walk to the entrance of the Temple if the taxi cannot access the street. Please make sure that you are at the meeting point 10 minutes before the starting time. The group will depart on time and those not present will be considered a no-show for which no refund can be made.
