Start your private day tour with a pickup from your Athens hotel or from Syntagma Square, the main gathering place. You'll embark on an elegant car or minivan and take in the breathtaking Saronic Gulf scenery. You'll make a photo stop at Corinth Canal after a roughly one-hour journey. Then, you'll reach the historic hilltop city of Mycenae in approximately 25 minutes, where you may take a walking tour of the ruins. Highlights include the Palace, the Tomb of Agamemnon, and the Lion's Gate, which you can admire. You'll then make a stop at the charming harbour of Nafplio. Before moving on to old Epidaurus, you'll meander around the winding lanes framed by the vivid bougainvillea trees and savor delectable Greek fare.
You'll visit relics such as the Sanctuary of Asklepios, which is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has ruined buildings. After that, you'll gaze at Epidaurus' ancient theater. The enormous theater, which was constructed in the fourth century BC, is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world and still has excellent acoustics.
Your journey will end in Athens, where it began.
