On this tour, you will see the city from a different perspective. Follow riddles to discover charming cobblestone streets, learn about history and vibrant culture. Admire picturesque canals and characteristic facades. Along the way, learn about the stories of the city and its inhabitants.
This alternative walk sharpens your senses and encourages you to appreciate the most wonderful – and often hidden – details around you. Whether you know Amsterdam or just start exploring it, this experience will help you to discover inspiring corners of the city. During the tour, you'll pass by Nieuwmarkt and the old city gate, the famous Rembrandt Hui, the Waterlooplein flea market, the gorgeous Amstel riverside, the old Mozes and Aäron church and the imposing National Monument on de Dam.
This discovery walk is an educational and fun activity for friends, couples, families with kids, curious locals, and visitors.

- This is a self-guided city discovery experience, there is no tour guide that meets you at the start location
- You can play in a team of 1–5 people
- Right after booking, you will receive the play link to the City Trail, sent by email from the local operator, please check also your spam folder
- The link is valid for 90 days, starting on the date you booked the activity for
- The City Trail is available in English
- It is strongly recommended to play during daylight hours
- You can pause the game: once started, you have 15 days to finish
- You need internet connection and a little data to play. The game will be on your browser, no app download is needed
- The end of the game is near Muntplein
