At vandre rundt i Balis Sommerfuglepark i Tabanan bliver det første, vi gør. Det er et reservat for sommerfugle og insekter med hundredvis af sommerfugle herunder nogle sjældne indonesiske arter. Du bliver opslugt gående en tur gennem de labyrintiske haver, mens du nyder de farverige insekter, der flagrer omkring dig. Derefter stopper turen ved Jatiluwih-risterrasserne, som har status som Verdensarvssted hos UNESCO. Turen går dybere ind i landskabet, som vi ankommer til bjergbyen Bedugul og Beratan-søen. Her finder du det ikoniske hinduistiske Shaivite-tempel Ulun Danu.
