Skip-the-line guided tour of Villa Romana del Casale

Visit Villa Romana del Casale, the jewel of Piazza Armerina, famous for its mosaics and said to be the most luxurious Villa of the late imperial Roman age. The villa bears witness to the daily life of fourth-century nobles and reflects borrowings and cultural influences between the Roman world and North Africa.

You'll begin your tour by visiting the baths, before you visit the guest's apartment. Here, you can admire mosaics depicting scenes of daily life. Then, you´ll head to the public area of the Villa where the owner used to receive visitors and show them the great mosaic, the Ambulatory of the Great Hunter.

Complete your tour by visiting the wonderful private apartments of the domina and dominus.
