San Gimignano, Siena and Chianti Day Trip
Enjoy a full-day tour of Tuscany's fascinating villages and landscapes! Explore the medieval city of Siena, and Monteriggioni, and marvel at the medieval towers of San Gimignano.
The first stop will be Siena. Admire the historic center of the city, the architectural styles of the Cathedral and the Palazzo Comunale in Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio race takes place. Afterward, head to a winery nestled in the Chianti area to taste some prestigious wines produced locally.
Once the winery stop is over, the tour will continue with a visit to the marvelous Monteriggioni Castle, a very well-preserved medieval fortress. You may recognize it from the Assassin's Creed video game series!
As a last stop, be enchanted by San Gimignano, a magnificent example of a medieval urban center and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will have time to freely visit the village and its beautiful squares, palaces, churches and towers.
