Erected during the 5th century BC, the site is one of the most outstanding examples of Greater Greece art and architecture.
In the afternoon, head on to Piazza Armerina to discover the Roman Villa of Casale on your own. Take your time to closely admire the refined mosaics of this villa and find out about the influential Roman family who lived there.
