Piazzas and fountains tour with Vatican Museums visit and lunch
Visit some of the most famous sights of Rome on this full-day guided tour! In the morning you'll walk through the city center with an expert guide who will show you among others, the Pantheon, the world’s largest unreinforced concrete dome and Piazza Navona, the most elegant of all Roman squares, where the famous Four Rivers Fountain by Bernini is located. Continue to the Baroque Trevi Fountain and to Piazza di Spagna, where you'll see the celebrated Spanish Steps and Bernini’s fountain La Barcaccia.
After having enjoyed a local lunch, your guide will take you to the Vatican Museums to admire its richest art collections and the Sistine Chapel, one of the world's most celebrated masterpieces. From the museum, you will get directly into St. Peter’s Basilica to admire, among others, Michelangelo’s La Pietà and the impressive Baldachin Altar by Bernini. Conclude your tour in St. Peter’s Square, admiring the symmetrical perfection of Bernini ’s double colonnade.
