You'll be picked up at Naples Central Station and, after a short drive by a comfortable minibus, you will reach the archaeological park of Herculaneum which is much smaller but better preserved than Pompeii. While Pompeii was covered by four to five meters of ashes, Herculaneum was buried under a mud landslide deep 20 meters. Discover the ruins and other archeological highlights; your guide won't miss a stop at the House of Neptune and Amphitrite and the beach where hundreds of skeletons are preserved. then transfer to Pompeii, stop for lunch and Begin your walk along the Roman streets of Pompeii.
