Join a wine tasting experience near the beautiful town of Syracuse, on the coast of Sicily. This activity is designed for those who want to learn more about the precious production of the small Syracuse DOC wines, but also for lovers of one of the lesser-known archaeological areas of Sicily, which includes the most important Greek fortress found to date.
The tasting session will take place in a centuries-old estate that includes a Greek fortress. Stroll through the vineyards and the lush garden while a wine expert guides you through a selection of different wines representing the area and traditions of Sicily. You will taste four wines: Targetta, Re Federico, Damarete Rosato, and Baronessa di Canseria. Learn about the different grape varieties, the soil, and the winemaking techniques used to produce these exceptional wines.
