Explore the Ancient Theater of Taormina, one of the greatest wonders of Hellenistic origin and a must-see for any traveler passionate about history and culture.
Retrace the most important stages of its history and reconstruction under the Roman domain. Learn about several transformations of the venue, from a stage for ferocious animals, to an amphitheater. Enjoy audioguide (available in English, Italian, French, German and Spanish)
Admire the scenic setting and enjoy some of the most striking views of the coastline and Mount Etna.

Know in advance:
- Please note that the official entrance ticket (without the audio guide) costs €12,00 for adults and €6,00 for EU citizens aged 18-25 years
- Please note that the audio guide is only available in English, Italian, Spanish and French
- The audio guide is provided by Aditus Culture and can be picked up at the ticket office on-site
- The venue opens at 9.00AM; opening hours are subject to change, please check the opening hours and closing hours on the official website
- On the first Sunday of each month, on the 10th of March (Cultural Heritage Day), 25th of April, 2nd of June and 4th of November, the entrance to the sites of eastern Sicily is free and tickets will be issued exclusively on-site, at the ticket offices
- Entrance is free for children (age 0-17) and persons with a disability (plus one person to assist them) and can be requested at the ticket office on-site
