These snack bars have given locals a comfortable place to unwind after work for many years now and will immerse you in their retro atmosphere. Snack bars maintain their intimate environment by not usually allowing newcomers to come in freely, but through this unique tour you can get in the door without worry. Drink, play games, try quizzes and sing karaoke with locals out on the town, your tour guide and the hostess of a real snack bar. You’ll even be able to try out kamishibai, a traditional Japanese paper theatre, and hear stories from experienced locals. Learn Tokyo’s drinking culture through first-hand experience with your friendly guide, and take home a special gift to remember the night.
