Your journey begins not just with cooking, but also with a visit to a local supermarket. Japanese supermarkets are a treasure trove, offering an extensive range of meats, fish, vegetables, and an array of unique seasonings. Your guides are eager to share their insights on selecting the freshest ingredients, a skill honed through daily practice. Once you've gathered the ingredients, you'll transition to a professional kitchen studio to embark on your cooking session. Under guided instruction, you'll master the techniques of Japanese home-style cooking, from wielding a Japanese knife with precision to preparing foundational elements like dashi for miso soup and crafting sushi rice seasoned with vinegar. Beyond sushi, you'll delve into creating authentic dishes such as miso soup, eggplant dengaku, and the delightful dashimaki tamago (rolled egg).
