One of the sunniest towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated on the river Neretva, Mostar hides memorable and fascinating stories. The most famous monument in Mostar is the Old Bridge, a masterpiece of Ottoman Empire architecture, which had been destroyed in 1993 during the civil war. It was then rebuilt and added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2005.
