Download an interactive application and begin your exciting exploration game. Your mission is to help the Von Trapp family from The Sound of Music escape Salzburg before WW2.
Solve clues to reveal exact directions to your next stop on the tour, without the need of a map, GPS, or a physical guide. Each solution unlocks an interesting story and reveals Salzburg's secrets.
Storyline:
You are Maria Von Trapp, wife of Captain Georg Von Trap of the Austrian Navy.
It is the year 1938 and Germany is preparing to annex Austria and form the Greater German Reich, but the Captain wants no part in this.
Having just returned from your honeymoon, you decide to let the Captain deal with the details of the escape and take the kids out for a fun day out around Salzburg. These are your final days in the city after all, even if the children do not know this.
You start your day in the Kurgarten, close to Schloss Mirabell, your children's favorite playground.

- Note there is no person assisting you at the starting point
- Total walking distance of about 4 km
- The city game typically around 50 minutes to complete (but you can go at your own pace!)
- You must be at the starting point (that you'll see in the app) in order to begin, or else the game won’t start
- Pause the game at any time and restart whenever you want, from the place you left it at
