Originally founded in 1871 as the Imperial Royal Austrian Museum of Art and Industry, the fascinating building by Heinrich von Ferstel houses today one of the most important museums of applied arts in the world. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 6.00pm. December 24 and 31 from 10.00am to 3.00pm
