Topped by a Benedictine Monastery, Montserrat is an ideal half-day trip to spend a fun day in nature, just a few kilometers away from Barcelona. On the way to the Monastery, admire the Massif of Montserrat, a spectacular multi-peaked rocky range packed of unique needle-shape formations. Upon arrival, visit the Monastery, which was founded in the 10th century and still functions to this day, with over 150 monks. It is also well-known for hosting the figure of La Moreneta (the dark one), who is the patron saint of Catalonia.
Next, descend to a nearby equestrian center located at the foothill of the Massif. Get ready for a thrilling horseback ride along the Natural Park, offering breathtaking views of Montserrat. All while enjoying the freedom and tranquility of the countryside. Lead by experienced guides, the route is suitable for everyone. Enjoy the ride and the spectacular sight of the mountain!

- The minimum age for this tour is 12 years old
- Due to horse safety restrictions, anyone with a weight above 95 kilograms or below 12 years of age, won't be allowed to join this activity
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes
- For your safety, a helmet is provided and is compulsory during the ride
- The visit to La Moreneta is subject to availability and, depending on the season, there may be a queue of up to 2 hours
- This tour may be affected due to weather or special events at the monastery
- On Saturdays and Sundays, there may be delays in the tour due to the monastery's high visitor numbers
- The maximum number of people allowed per tour is 8. If the group has more than 8 participants, it will be split in two different groups, alternating the order of the activity
- The tour will finish at Gran Via de Carles III, 100, 08028 Barcelona
