Get ready to discover the Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania, which is the largest protected game reserve on the African continent. Experience a safari in a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Prepare to observe a rich diversity of wildlife such as buffalos, lions, giraffes, zebras, elephants, and many other species on a 2-day safari experience.
During your safari, you will be staying at Africa Safari Selous which is overlooking a natural waterhole and is located just outside the Selous Game Reserve. You will have a full-day game drive on the first day upon your arrival and enjoy a beautiful boat safari in the Rufiji River the next morning. On a boat safari, there is a great chance of spotting hippos, crocodiles, and plenty of different bird species.
You will go back to your hotel in Zanzibar with amazing memories and even better photos.

- The minimum age to join the tour is 6 years old
- Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
- Wear shorts or pants and short-sleeved t-shirts in light colors
- Bring a warm pullover for the night
- Bring some personal insect repellent, anti-bacterial wipes, and hand sanitizer for use during the game drives
- Please bring cash for the village fee of $1 per person per night to be paid at the hotel and the Tourism Development Levy of $1.50 per person per night to be paid at the hotel
