Český Krumlov, a medieval town in South Bohemia, has retained its almost fairytale-like atmosphere to the present day and deserves its being on the UNESCO list of cultural heritage sites.
The historical center comprises narrow, winding streets and lanes full of Gothic, renaissance, and baroque buildings from the times of the Rožmberk, Eggenberg, and Schwarzenberg noble families.
You will enjoy a walk through the town with your guide. Then you will have the option to visit the local castle, the second biggest Czech castle, full of historical furniture, artwork, tapestries, and exquisitely adorned weapons. Český Krumlov boasts the world’s oldest preserved baroque theatre.

Know in advance:
- Only the museum and the castle tower are open on days: 1.11.-22.12, and 2. 1.-31. 3., Tuesdays-Sundays (interiors of the castle closed)
- The whole castle is closed on 23.12.2024-1.1.2025
- Students are obligated to present their ISIC/student card throughout the duration of the tour, otherwise the price difference has to be paid
- Castle admission ticket can be bought at the castle
