Dresden was the chocolate capital of Germany and is considered the place of invention of milk chocolate, which was exported from here to the world. In the Chocolate Museum you will experience the exciting history of this delicacy and what really defines good chocolate.
You will learn surprising facts about the numerous chocolate manufactories in Dresden in the 19th century, discover one of the world's largest collections of chocolate molds by Anton Reiche and get to know the long way from a cocoa bean to tasty chocolate.
Afterwards, you will sample what the first chocolate bars might have tasted like and excellent milk chocolate from nowadays.
