The museum boasts six permanent exhibitions that showcase the city's diverse heritage and its most remarkable artefacts. These include “Snow Globe: Typical Frankfurt!”, “Frankfurt Once? A Thousand Years of City History”, “Frankfurt Now!: The City of Today and Tomorrow”, “Frankfurter Collectors and donors”, “The Staufer Age and The Staufer Harbour”, and “Main Panorama in the Toll Tower”.
Kickstart your visit with the multimedia and artistic installation “Snow Globe” located in the new building of the museum. This engaging exhibit offers an entertaining glimpse into the exciting aspects of Frankfurt city life. The Young Museum Frankfurt also presents a range of lively and interactive on-site activities, which are available across all permanent and temporary exhibitions of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt. You have the flexibility to book your ticket for all exhibitions (permanent + temporary), only the permanent exhibitions, or solely the temporary exhibition.

Option 3 is the entrance ticket to the permanent exhibition only
Vigtig information
Know in advance:
- You'll climb around 100 steps in a narrow staircase to reach the top of the Toll Tower
- In case you want to explore the Toll Tower, please note that there is no lift
- The museum is opened from 11am to 6pm
- Option 1 is the entrance ticket for all exhibitions
- Option 2 is the entrance ticket to the temporary exhibition only
- Option 3 is the entrance ticket to the permanent exhibition only
