When hearing German food most think about sausages, schnitzels and sauerkraut. Join this food tour to discover the wide cuisine of Hamburg, worlds away from the traditional German cuisine.
Your guide will lead you to the bohemian area of Sternschanze to try local delicacies such as franzbrötchen, a cinnamon-infused take on the French croissant. Enjoy a tasty fischbrötchen, a roll filler with a salty North Sea pickled herring, and panfish in a light mustard sauce. Of course, a dessert is included, you can choose a rote grütze, a red fruit pudding cooked from black and red currants, raspberries, or cherries served with vanilla sauce.
To finish off you will enjoy a local beer while admiring a view of the River Elbe.
