Leave behind the frenetic and fast-paced city of Hanoi for the day and go on an unforgettable bike ride through the Vietnamese countryside. Whizz along the banks of the Red River to explore the timeless traditional villages and learn the peaceful ways of life outside of Hanoi.
After a quick safety briefing, fill up your reusable water bottle and leave the busy streets of Hanoi behind. Pass Hanoi’s oldest bridge, The Long Bien, built by the famous Eiffel Construction company in 1902 and immerse yourself in local life and experience the beauty of Vietnam’s countryside. First stop, a bonsai garden where you'll learn about this intricate art and see some of the beautiful plant creations. Then it's on to the home of a famous local artist to admire some Vietnamese contemporary fine art. Back on your bike and off to a local temple. If you are lucky you will have a chance to see the Hau Dong ritual performance. Next up, a local market to taste some tropical fruits. Your ride continues through the farming area of Red River Island. There will be lots of opportunities to stop and take photos of the beautiful surroundings. Depending on the season, you may get to see locals picking the flowers to be taken to market. You'll continue cycling along the river to the famous West Lake for a cup of coffee or green tea before returning to the starting point in Hanoi.

- The private tour requires a minimum group size of two travelers. A solo traveler may still book this private experience but will be charged the base rate for two travelers. The maximum number of participants is 12
- This tour includes a 20-kilometer bike ride on flat roads to the outskirts outside Hanoi. While the ride is not overly strenuous, it will require a basic level of physical fitness and you should be comfortable with riding a bicycle
- We highly recommend you bring a reusable water bottle. There will be two stops along the way where you can refill your bottle
- Light and comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended. Sunscreen and sunglasses are also recommended
