Embark on a thrilling journey from Hue to Hoi An, traversed by private car. This 6-hour excursion promises scenic vistas and significant landmarks that will leave you in awe. Starting from your hotel in Hue city centre,you'll venture towards Lap An Lagoon, a serene oasis nestled 70km away. Here, the lagoon's crystal clear waters are framed by verdant trees, offering a glimpse into the harmonious daily lives of the locals.
Next, descend to the foot of Hai Van Pass, where you can feast your eyes on the majestic beauty of Lang Co Bay. You'll also catch sight of the road leading to Hai Van tunnel, Vietnam's longest tunnel. As one of Vietnam's most scenic hillside roads, Hai Van Pass is a sight to behold. At its peak, remnants of an ancient fortified gateway stand tall, while American and French bunkers offer panoramic views of the city without any strenuous climb. A rest station at the summit provides the ideal spot for a coffee break.
Your final destination is Marble Mountain or Ngu Hanh Son, a cluster of five hills composed of limestone and marble. Resembling five fingers reaching out to the sea, these hills house numerous caves, caverns, pagodas, stairs and two spectacular viewing points. They are also home to several Buddhist sanctuaries and Hindu grottoes, making them popular places of worship among locals. After this enrichening experience, you will be dropped you off at your chosen location in Hoi An.
