Enjoy a half-day tour to experience the daily life of the locals. Begin the tour by cycling to the Tiger Arena and Long Chau Temple. You will learn and hear stories about two historical sites from the last feudal era of Vietnam.
Continuing the journey with a rural exploration, you will move down the quiet, green streets. Pay attention to the green bamboo groves, the areca trees, and the Chinese tea around the aisles when you ride. The guide will give you some interesting information about plants, herbs, and vegetables along the way. After that, you will stop to look at the field of lilies.
Admire the garden houses filled with Thanh Tra trees, a special tree that only grows in Hue. Thanh Tra is a grapefruit-like plant but its taste is sweeter and juicier. It is a type of fruit used to offer to the ancient kings and royalty.
The final destination is a small restaurant on the poetic Huong River. Here, you will have a light meal and rest after the journey.
