Visit Duisburg's harbor district Ruhrort on a guided tour in the footsteps of the popular Tatort commissioner Horst Schimanski and see the original filming locations of the series.
Horst Schimanski is still the most popular Tatort commissioner today. Schimmi - as the Duisburg detective with the mustache and the grubby jacket was usually called - became a TV hero from 1981. At his side were his partner Thanner and Hänschen. The Schimmi-tour follows the trio to the original filming locations in Duisburg.
Learn everything about the commissioner: Where did Schimmi first shout shit? Where did he meet his first love? Where did Thanner live? Where did they eat their first currywurst? These questions and more are answered by the tour through the port city district that became virtually immortal in the very first Tatort episode "Duisburg-Ruhrort."
