Get ready to explore the history of Baltimore at your own pace with this self-driving audio tour. With this experience, you'll get access to audio recordings and written text explanations via the tour's mobile app.
Your self-guided tour of Baltimore begins at the inner harbor, where a few centuries-old ships are still docked today and you’ll have the chance to see the USS Constellation and the Baltimore Aquarium.
After that, you’ll head through the city toward the Frederick Douglass Isaac Myers Maritime Park, which honors two African American heroes who once worked at this very shipyard. Get to know their struggles and triumphs as you explore the park.
Then it’s on to the Horse You Came In On Saloon. This isn’t just the oldest saloon in America, it’s also supposedly the last place Edgar Allan Poe stopped on the evening of his mysterious demise. Plus, some say the place is haunted!
During your tour, you'll also visit and learn the history behind Fells Point, Douglass Place, Baltimore’s City Hall, Washington Monument, Edgar Allan Poe’s grave and house, Federal Hill Park, and more.
