Immerse yourself into the history of the U.S. capital with this guided walking tour! You will start your tour with a cruise along the Potomac River. During the cruise, you will hear about the history of the city and admire its main landmarks such as the Titanic Memorial, Teddy Roosevelt Island, the Kennedy Center, and the Lincoln Memorial.
You will then land at Georgetown Port and enjoy a guided tour through the oldest neighborhood in Washington DC. You will stop at a family-run bakery to try their delicious cupcakes and then continue your tour as your guide tells you about the anecdotes that surround this neighborhood. You will hear about the oldest house in DC and pass by the buildings connected to the Kennedy family, including the church where John F. Kennedy attended his last service before being assassinated.
You will then reach Georgetown University that counts as a famous student William Peter Blatty, the author of "The Exorcist". You will pass by the "Exorcist Steps" and hear about the true story that inspired Blatty for his work.
