In this tour you will visit two sites of the UNESCO list, which are some of the most sought-after monuments of ancient Bulgarian history.
You will discover unique frescoes from the 11th century and the characteristic architecture of the Bulgarian Revival of the beginning of the 19th century. The complex of the Rila Monastery has five museums with a rich library, which preserves around 3,5000 unique exhibits, which include nearly 300 manuscripts and more than 9,000 print and graphic publications dating back from the 11th to the 19th century. You will have the opportunity to discover the whole monastery.
