4x4 sunrise and wildlife desert safari with picnic from Dubai
Experience the desert at its most mystical and tranquil time at sunrise. See the wildlife and enjoy a morning picnic to start your day.
After pick-up from Dubai, you'll travel in a Land Cruiser on a dune drive to watch the desert come alive. Watch the protected indigenous wildlife in their natural habitats in the early hours of the morning such as the Desert Gazelle and the Arabian Oryx.
There will then be a short drive to the Al Qudra Lakes which is part of the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. Across the series of lakes at Al Qudra, you'll enjoy a breakfast picnic or leisurely ride. There will be Arabic coffee, dates and refreshments for you too on this tour!

- On a foggy or hazy day the sunrise may not be clear and seeing the Arabian Oryx is not guaranteed (there is a low probability that Arabian Oryx will not be at the feeding stations)
- There is a maximum of 5 people per vehicle
- Children aged 0-4 years are not permitted on this tour
- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months. Good quality sunglasses and hats are advisable
- Please wear sports shoes for safe sandboarding
- A vegetarian option is available for the picnic lunch. Please advise at the time of booking if required
- Guests visiting the UAE during the summer months (June-September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42-45°C and humidity levels can also exceed 90% during this period so we recommend all guests to take adequate precautions
- The duration of the tour mentioned is approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions. Delays in hotel pick-up may occur due to traffic conditions
- The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances
