If you want to explore Cairo but without the stress of planning and organizing your transportation and activities, then this is the tour for you. You'll discover the beauty, history and culture that fills the city and check out its many incredible monuments.

Start with an evening pickup from your accommodation in Luxor to the train station and get on the night seating train. Drop off at Giza train station after an overnight journey and get welcomed by the representative of the local operator and your Egyptologist. Feel the atmosphere of Cairo City, as you head to Giza Pyramids, the last remaining wonder of the Ancient World.

Now, it is time to stretch your legs and enjoy a lunch buffet onboard a floating restaurant on the River Nile. After lunch, you’re in for a treat with the next stop at the Egyptian Museum. With over 100 exhibition galleries inside, it’s home to the world’s biggest collection of Egyptian artefacts. Wander past statues, artefacts, and relics that’ll give you the inside scoop into the daily life and religious practices of past civilizations from thousands of years ago.

Drive back to the train station and take the night train back to Luxor, followed by a transfer to your hotel.

Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on-site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee (12+ years) for the Cheops Great Pyramid is around EGP 900 and EGP 450 for children under 12. The adult entrance fee (12+ years) for Mykerinos or Kefren is around EGP 220 and EGP 110 for children under 12

Return train tickets are included in the price. Dinner or breakfast is not included. Please bring your own snacks and water with you on the train. Food and drinks are also available for purchase on the train
If possible, you may want to arrange a take-away dinner and breakfast box with your hotel reception before the tour date
