Egypt is not just home to incredible pyramids, it has the Siwa Oasis, which features hundreds of salt pools where it's impossible to sink. Siwa, a wonderful oasis in the Egyptian Western Desert covered in lush greenery, was formerly known in ancient Egyptian as palm land. The name perfectly represents the palm trees that the oasis is famous for.

Get picked up by air-conditioned vehicle from your accommodation in Marsa Matrouh, Al-Alameen and the North Coast and head towards Siwa Oasis, from where you start with the ruins of the oracle temple of Zeus Amon, which was already famous in the time of Herodotus and was consulted by Alexander the Great. Discover the Mountain of the Dead, which includes many tombs back to the ancient Egyptian eras, Greeks, and Romans.

Be prepared with your swimsuits and towels to experience the salt lakes of Siwa. There are 4 large salt lakes that have a depth of 4m and a 95% concentration of Salt in them. The large presence of salt helps people float on the surface of the water even though they can't swim and the salt also helps heal many medical conditions, especially skin problems.

The pickup time starts in the early morning at around 02:30 am from El-Alamain Hotel Area and around 04:00 from Mersa Matruh Hotel Area and the journey to Siwa Oasis takes approximately 5 hours with short stopping at cafeterias on the road for rest and refreshments
