Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Dublin Mountains are a welcome haven. You'll enjoy a leisurely hike through fields and forests that are bursting with ancient history and mythology.
You'll hop on board a local bus and travel through the backroads of the Dublin foothills to a remote mountain village where you'll start your trek. Along the way, you'll see ancient burial tombs, admire the stunning panoramic views of Dublin and the bay and even, pick some delicious wild berries if the season is right. You'll pass through an evergreen forest and soak up the nature before heading for lunch at a rustic restaurant that dishes up delicious, local produce and cuisine. Then it's time to hop on the bus back to Dublin and take in the scenery from a new perspective.
