Join this tour to discover the baroque beauty secrets of Sicily and enjoy an incredible full-day adventure, dedicated to the exploration of three fascinating UNESCO heritage sites: Ragusa Ibla, Modica and Noto. Your private driver escort will make sure you shall enjoy this private tour to the maximum.
The first stop of the tour will be Ragusa Ibla: old and Baroque city where you can admire numerous eighteenth-century churches and buildings, on which important sculptors and architects have worked, helping to create the famous "Barocco del Val di Noto". Duomo of San Giorgio is the most representative expression of these.
Soon after, you'll discover another jewel of the Sicilian Baroque: Modica. You'll visit the town with its churches, the facades of noble palaces, the fountains, the Pizzo viewpoint but also the churches of San Giorgio and San Pietro and the ruins of the castle that was never rebuilt. There you can live a real journey into the tradition of Sicilian cuisine (the lunch is optional).
Then you'll head towards the capital of Baroque: Noto. It's made of numerous historic buildings of great artistic importance, palaces, churches, terraces and stairways, all built with local stone, with a golden color tending to rosé. The discovery of the Baroque begins from Porta Reale: the real city gate. You'll visit the Cathedral of San Nicolò, whose construction began at the end of 1600 and the most important building of which is Palazzo Ducezio, seat of the town hall, built in 1700.
