No trip to Cambodia is complete without exploring iconic Angkor Wat temple. This half-day tour by car or coach introduces us to the jewel in Cambodia’s temple-studded crown, followed by a visit to root-riddled Ta Prohm. From the hotel, You jump in a car or coach and drive to Angkor Archaeological Park and head straight to mighty 12th century Angkor Wat. Standing as the world’s largest religious structure, the ancient Khmer Empire capital is a sprawling city that is home to an impressive Hindu temple complex, baths, a library and other crumbling structures. Your next stop is Ta Prohm, which was built in the late-12th century by King Jayavarman VII as part of his vast construction programme that led to the creation of Angkor Thom and Bayon. Ta Prohm served as a university and Buddhist monastery. Today, its mystery captures the imaginations of visitors, with parts of the crumbling temple seemingly swallowed by giant roots of the ancient trees that overshadow it.
