Begin your experience at Wat Sisaket, the oldest-surviving monastery of Vientiane with thousands of Buddha statues inside. Follow your guide and hear the history behind Hor Pha Keo and how the temple was razed twice. You'll see Pha That Luang, a national symbol of Laos that is represented on the national seal and currency and, you'll admire the large stupa covered in gold leaf and surrounded by 30 smaller stupas. Don't miss the chance to observe the impressive hand-painted frescos that adorn the internal walls.
Your itinerary will continue climbing to the viewing platform of Patouxai, known as the Vientiane’s Arc de Triomphe, and a window into its French-colonial history, before tasting the traditional cuisine in a local restaurant.
