Next, travel to Sloten, the smallest of the legendary eleven cities of the province of Friesland. Walk along the canals and admire the picturesque old houses with a variety of typical Dutch gables. Stop at the charming fishing village of Urk, where you will walk to the lighthouse and the old church by the sea. Finally, visit the medieval town of Elburg. with its iconic medieval entrance gate. Explore its monuments and the remaining old city walls.
