The history of the Jerónimos Monastery spans five centuries. The crown jewel of the Portuguese late Gothic style known as Manueline, the Monastery is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Visit the Jerónimos Monastery at your own pace with this self-guided audio tour. You'll admire the Southern portal, the Cloister, the Chapter Room, and the tomb of Vasco da Gama while learning about Portugal's glorious past and contemplating the Monastery's rich architecture.

- The Monastery is wheelchair accessible
- After booking, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to access and download your audio tour, please check your email spam folder as well
- An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows Phones, iPhone 5/5C or older, iPod Touch 5th generation or older, iPad 4th generation or older and iPad Mini 1st generation
- You will need storage space on your phone (100-150 MB)
- Off-shoulder tops and dresses are not recommended, please cover your shoulders at all times during your visit to the monastery
- It is recommended not to wear knee-high shorts, your knees must be covered inside the monastery
