On this 4-hour guided tour, you'll begin your visit at the Belém quarter where you can find historical monuments from the 15th and 16th centuries. A brief stop at the Belém Tower (Torre de Belém) – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and point of departure of some of the Portuguese maritime explorations – and at the Monument to the Discoveries (Padrão dos Descobrimentos), built to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Prince Henry the Navigator.
Then, you'll see the church of Jerónimos Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos), a masterpiece of the Manueline style, and the National Palace of Ajuda, a former royal palace and a national monument, which is a magnificent museum and the only palace that can be visited in Lisbon.
Discover the old quarters of Lisbon during the walking tour. You'll arrive at Alfama, an old and traditional district, where you can walk the narrow streets and visit a handicraft shop where to taste an apéritif of Port wine. Pass by the downtown (Baixa) to admire the most important squares of Lisbon such as the monumental Comércio Square, Rossio Square, the heart of Lisbon, and the symbolic Restauradores Square.
