During low tides, you'll venture out to the mangrove bay, exploring a large channel several kilometres from your starting point under favourable conditions. However, when the tides are higher, you'll navigate through various meandering channels of the Al Thakira mangroves, taking in views of diverse wildlife such as reef egrets, terns, herons, and even the occasional leaping fish.
The tour concludes with a relaxing stop at a local beach. A biology specialist will accompany you throughout this journey, sharing their passion for this remarkable Qatari ecosystem and delivering an engaging talk on ecology and biology.
