Home to the oldest University in Britain, Oxford is an architectural marvel. Explore all it has to offer aboard a City Sightseeing hop-on hop-off bus, with one fantastic route and 19 bus stops.

Hop on the City and University tour, starting at the Railway Station, and head to Park End Street where you can hop off and take in the view of the Castle Mill Stream, a hidden treasure of Oxford. Fancy a bit of shopping during your trip? Hop off at the fabulous Westgate Shopping Centre.

Hop back on and ride past some of the old-style colleges, some of which date back to the early 14th century. You'll be able to see Brasenose College, The Queen's College and the Trinity College gates very clearly from up high on the open-top buses. Hop back off the old Sheldonian Theatre or at the famous Browns restaurant.

please be aware that the guided walking tour has seasonal availability (enquire upon arrival for more information)
please note that changes to operating times, frequencies and inclusions can happen at any time and without notice
due to ongoing roadworks across the city, tour's times are a little longer than usual, up to 90 minutes for a loop, and waiting times may be a little longer because of traffic delays
please note that buses will not operate on 25th and 26th December and 1st January 2024
the Visitor Information Point and Carfax tower will be both closed on December 25th, 26th and January 1st
the Visitor Information Point will open from 9am to 4pm on December 24th while Carfax Tower will open from 9 am to 3 pm
from December 27th to January 2nd, the Visitor Information Point will open from 9:30am to 5pm except on December 31st (from 9:30am - 4pm) and January 1st (closed). Carfax Tower will open from 9am to 3pm on those days (except on January 1st).
