The Jungfrau Railway dates back to 1912 and is located at 3454 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest railway station in Europe. The railway will take you from Kleine Scheidegg station to the Jungfraujoch with a short 5-minute stop at Eismeer where you’ll be able to admire a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
After the nine-kilometer journey, you will step into a world of rock, ice, and snow and have some free time to immerse yourself in nature.

- the QR code is the ticket - no need to exchange it. Just board the train
- check the timetable and operating hours before booking
- the train is wheelchair accessible
- the total train ride is around 1 hour and 40 minutes
- it is recommended to plan 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours for a self-guided tour on top
- please note that the ticket is valid for a train ride from Lauterbrunnen - Kleine Scheidegg - Jungfraujoch and back
- children under the age of 6 can join for free and do not need a ticket
