Experience the thrill of searching for the Northern lights in Swedish Lapland and visit the best places to spot the Aurora Borealis! On this tour you will be going off the beaten track in order to chase one of the most mysterious and profound phenomena the world has to offer.
Upon getting picked up from your accommodation in Luleå, your professional guide will use their experience combined with local weather and aurora forecasts to make the best possible decision about where to look for the Northern lights. During the evening you will travel to several promising viewing locations.
Once you find a good spot your guide will light a fire and you will enjoy some hot beverages while sitting comfortably on reindeer skins. Your guide will tell you more about the background of the Northern Lights and explain the different colours.
You will also get some tips on how to photograph this phenomenon and learn about ancient myths surrounding these mysterious lights.
