One of the top sights in Hamburg takes you through 600 years of dark Hamburg history. Legends of bygone days brought back to life provide live entertainment at its best. Whoever climbs after that into the "elevator of doom", embarks on a very special journey through time: here you stop breathing, here you flinch and laugh at the same time.
Every visitor is actively involved in the course of historical event, becoming a real part of the city's history. Professional actors take you into the dark years of the plague or aboard a pirate ship to save Klaus Störtebeker from execution. They escape from the great fire of 1842, experience cruel torture methods of the 18th century, or defend themselves at the court, victims of an arbitrarily Inquisition - always with a wink and a lot of humor. Enjoy the history of Hamburg at first hand!
